Hot day on the St. Joe

It was a hot day fishing in Northern Idaho yesterday but that did not hurt the fishing.  I have been fishing the St. Joe for the last 5 years and now I can call it my river.  I fished one of my favorite stretches for about 7 hours and netted 17 Westslope Cutthroats from 8 inches up to 15.  Here is a couple of pictures and as you can see I'm not as good as the guy who took the pictures of my brookies

  1. What were you throwing? Any hoppers out yet? What's the river level like?

  2. Finally got this to work - only took a couple of weeks.

Glad to see you've slowed down a little and are getting some fishing in.

I see you've hit the beer and the fishing, but I don't see any BBQ yet.

    I'm envious.
